Sex and Psychic power

Sexual activities is generally discouraged for practicing mystic, I thought there maybe neurological reason behind this commonalities across all aspect of psychic ability ranging pre-cognition to mind-reading. I suppose abstinence from sex would increase the accuracy and strength of one’s psychic ability, therefore monks that practice for psychic experience are often live without sex for large part of their life. The reason behind that is related to the brain circularity which produce the sexual arousal, and generally lead to the increase of dopamine production, and I suppose that would decrease the chance of neurological activity of individual nerve cell to reach a pattern which produce effect we known as psychic. Paradoxically, we also notice that the climax of sexual activities would produce what is known as ‘One-ness with the Universe’. So my thought is that sexual activities is taking the same neurological route as psychic practice, and the brain is built to have only one neurological pattern. Thus sexual activities, in a sense, replace the role of psychic power, thus it is prohibited by anyone practicing psychical ability.
